• Location data: GPS coordinates captured when using the time clock feature, solely to record clock-in and clock-out location for payroll and job tracking purposes.
• Third-party integration data: When you connect a QuickBooks Online account, we receive and store OAuth tokens and QuickBooks entity IDs (customer IDs, invoice IDs, project IDs) necessary to operate the integration on your behalf.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• Authenticate users and enforce account security;
• Sync data with connected third-party services (such as QuickBooks Online and Google Calendar) at your direction;
• Send transactional emails such as contract copies, password resets, and system notifications;
• Diagnose technical issues and improve the performance and reliability of the Service;
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

3. QuickBooks Online Integration

If you connect your QuickBooks Online account, Build IQ will access your QBO data solely to perform the actions you initiate within the Service, including creating customers, invoices, projects, and recording payments. OAuth tokens are stored securely in our database and used only to authenticate API requests on your behalf. You may revoke this access at any time through the Service settings or directly through your Intuit account at accounts.intuit.com. Build IQ’s use of data received from Intuit APIs complies with Intuit’s API usage policies.

4. Google Calendar Integration

The Service integrates with Google Calendar for sales scheduling. When this integration is active, Build IQ creates, updates, and deletes calendar events on your behalf using a service account. No Google user credentials are stored by Build IQ. This integration is limited to calendar event management and does not access email, contacts, or other Google data.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Third-party service providers: We use hosting, email delivery, and other infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Third-party integrations: Data is shared with QuickBooks Online and Google Calendar only as directed by you through the Service.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights and safety of Build IQ or others.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal information within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted HTTPS connections, hashed password storage, and access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may:

• Access or update your account information by logging into the Service;
• Disconnect third-party integrations (QuickBooks, Google Calendar) through the Service settings;
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below.
